When you help a woman recover, she not only changes her world, but the world around her.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have rescheduled our Gala for September 17, 2020. This pandemic has had a significant impact on the operations of Gracie’s House, yet we still must go on and continue to fight the war on addiction. This is a hard time for all of us, but our women in recovery are facing additional challenges. Meetings are shut down and already existing anxiety becomes worse, for example. The Antonia Maria Foundation will persevere! We are ready with two recovery homes to support women experiencing addiction when our world recovers from this devastating pandemic and we all create a new normal. Together we will continue to heal.

This Gala launches our new partnership with Day One Sober Living, which will help us revolutionize sober living care for women in New Jersey. Together, we will be opening Leo’s House, our second recovery home for women. Join us for a night of pure joy as we celebrate the glorious colors of fall and our beautiful women in recovery. We promise to fill your heart with love and gratitude as we revel in the success of the women of the Antonia Maria Foundation.

At the Antonia Maria Foundation, we are dedicated, heart and soul, to provide what you all have been asking for… homes for women with dignity. Homes that are supportive. Homes that are safe. Homes where our women do the inside work. Homes that reunite women with their families. Homes that lead with love and God first. Homes that see the soul of the women they serve. Homes filled with discipline, compassion, and integrity, but most of all, homes that grow with our women.

Treatment is much more effective with aftercare. Sober living is key for a successful recovery plan. It is one of the most effective paths to successful long-term recovery.  During the most critical months following treatment, addiction sufferers face a 40-60% chance of relapse. Sober living homes provide the support and structure needed to dramatically increase length of sobriety.
